COVID-19: Wildlife and conservation

COVID-19 has had a deep impact on wildlife conservation around the world. For decades, ecotourism had help protect endangered species but COVID-19 and the subsequent closure of ecotourism sites has an indelible impact on wildlife and the communities that protectit. The UN Environment Programme works with countries around the world expand their wildlife economies in a sustainable manner.
