Invisible PeopleThe Delores Project in Denver, Colorado, has an emergency homeless shelter for 60 unaccompanied women and transgender individuals over the age of 18 who are without a safe place to stay at night.
They also have 35 units of permanent supportive housing and 95 units of affordable housing for individuals and families. Their campus was developed using trauma-informed design creating physical spaces that promote safety, well-being and healing. To start the process of healing, homeless people need a safe place that provides security and dignity.
